How do I sign up to Indirectory?
If you have an iPhone, download the app ‘Indirectory’ and create a profile.
If you use Android then download the app ‘Indirectory’ and create a profile.

What does it cost?
Indirectory is 100% free for retailer buyers. There are no hidden costs and no obligation.

How does Indirectory make money then?
There is a free version for our 1200+ brands, however these have joined our Premium Membership, which get’s them featured with extra promotion. Brands don’t pay commission as Indirectory doesn’t have ecommerce set up. We allow businesses to do their ordering in their own unique way without complicating their inventory or shipping calculations, or chewing into their margins.

Can I sign up using my desktop computer instead of my phone?
Yes we do have a web-app, however it is quite new. So please let us know if you notice any bugs, and make sure you also download the smart phone app for a better experience. Register using desktop here.

I’ve made a profile now what?
Now you just ‘swipe left’ on the profiles you aren’t interested in, and ‘swipe right’ on those profiles you are interested in. If and when the brand swipes right on your profile, you will ‘MATCH’. When this happens, a chat conversation will be created. Introduce yourself to the brand and ask them to send you more information via your preferred method, or let them know you are just following along for now.

How do I place an order with a wholesaler on Indirectory?
Indirectory is a matchmaker, not a marketplace. Wholesalers each have their own unique way of taking orders. Get in touch with the brand to ask them how you may access their catalogue, prices and how you can place an order.

How does the virtual trade show work for buyers?
Any buyer who creates an account on Indirectory, has free access to our launch event perks. This includes free attendance and replay of informative webinars, and access to all of the brands on Indirectory App. Our premium brands profiles allow for 1 on 1 meeting bookings (at your convenience) and easy access to the brand’s catalogue and price list. Our ‘Virtual Trade Show’ technically runs all year round but for the month of August and March we also had workshops, speakers and premium brands with discounts, exclusively available for Australian and NZ buyers with an Indirectory profile, for August and March only.

How does the virtual trade show work for brands?
Any wholesaling brands that have an account on Indirectory (whether using our app for free or subscribed to our premium features) have free access to some of the perks of our Virtual Trade Show like the Informative Webinars. You can also benefit from all of the buyers who are joining Indirectory and swiping on brand profiles as they plan their buying for that buying period. You will be set up to take virtual meetings and have 80% more exposure than free members of the app.

I’m having trouble logging in. What do I do?

Oh no! Sorry you are having trouble. Here are some tips to trouble shoot what may be wrong.

1. Try updating your app (you can do this by searching for Indirectory in the app store and clicking ‘update’.)

2. If this doesn’t work, try deleting the app from your phone and then installing it again. Check that you are logging in using your username (not your email address). Your username would have been emailed to you in the welcome email.

3. If this still doesn’t work, try resetting your password. Your email address for your account would have received emails from Indirectory letting you know what your username is. Don’t forget to look in your spam folder.

4. Still having trouble? Please get in touch with us so we can assist you. You can also do this by the chat bot here on the bottom right hand corner of this website. There is a chance we may have suspended your account if there wasn’t enough information for us to verify your business, or for images that weren’t to a professional standard.

When will Indirectory be available in my Country?
Currently Indirectory is available in Australia and New Zealand, however we will be expanding to other English speaking countries soon.

Can I get a demo before committing?
Indirectory is a really simple, fun and easy to use app. Watch a quick demo of how it works here. It’s free and only takes 5 minutes to set up your risk-free and obligation-free profile. Once you have set that up (similar to setting up an Instagram profile) you can then swipe on other business’s profiles. Brands swipe left (for skip) and right (for love/follow) on Retailers profiles, and Retailers do the same for Brand’s profiles. If the feeling is mutual (and both business’s swipe ‘right’ on each other) then ‘it’s a match’ and you can begin to chat and swap business information. There are hundreds of businesses matching as we speak! All of the profiles you swipe right on you will be ‘following’. So when we introduce our newsfeed feature, you will be able to keep up to date with their latest posts. Is Indirectory another wholesale marketplace?
Indirectory is not an ecommerce platform or a wholesale marketplace. It is a ‘wholesale only’ business network. Imagine an Instagram-styled Linkedin, but for Brands and Retailers, and with a fun swipe features like popular dating apps. Indirectory is simply a way for Retailers to discover Brands they will love, and for Brands to discover Retailers they will love. Soon we will be introducing a news feed so Retailers can keep up to date with the latest news from all of the Brands they follow.

How do I delete my account?
We are sad to hear you would like to delete your account. Please get in touch with us so we can assist you with this process. Please note you can hide your profile indefinitely in your profile settings.

Which Brands or Retailers are already using Indirectory?
There are currently over 1100 beautiful Brands and over 900 rad Retailers using our platform. You can get a sample of who they are on our Instagram. But the best way to find out is to jump on the App and create a free profile!

What if I’m not a Retailer or a Wholesaling Brand?
This is a matching platform for Retail buyers who stock multiple independent Brands, buying agents given authority by a Retail business to create an account, or an independent brand who is wholesaling to retailers. If you are an interior designer/decorator, blogger, not wholesaling, not in business just yet, or some other industry person who doesn’t fit the description above, and you create a profile on our app, it’s likely to be removed by us.
